LUI&JULI is an organic soap brand based in Nha Trang derived from the namesake of its founder and mother, Julee, and her beloved child, Louis. The brand encapsulates the essence of pure love and nurturing, just like a mother's devotion to her child.

Our soaps are carefully handcrafted using only the finest ingredients, mainly locally produced, carefully selected to deliver soaps of exceptional quality. It is not only a treat for children, but also a touch of comfort and protection for adults, evoking the gentle care and nurturing touch of a mother.

How We Make Our Soaps

All products are made with high-quality natural and organic ingredients, essential oils and herbs in small batches. For soapmaking we use the old-fashioned cold processing method, requiring the soap to cure for 4 to 6 weeks.

We never use artificial or synthetic ingredients, parabens or preservatives. No toxic chemicals used. Because nature already gave us everything we need for our skin, there is no need to use synthetical replicas.

We believe in the power of nutrients derived from nature and the fact that real goodness comes after a long wait and patience.

We make Palm-oil-Free soaps because we believe;

The widespread extraction of palm oil in various contemporary industries, including the soap industry, results in the devastation of tropical rainforests and the displacement of numerous wildlife habitats. This can result in the disruption of ecosystems, ultimately leading to the extinction of certain species on Earth.

Therefore, WE NEVER USE PALM OIL - or any ingredient unfriendly to ecosystem- in any of our products, in order to protect our precious neighbors and keep our home healthy.

Fortunately, there are abundant wonderful alternatives sustainable and skin-nourishing at the same time, such as Olive oil, which is our main ingredient in making beautiful soaps.

Our Ingredients

  • Extra virgin Olive oil

    It has gentle and moisturizing qualities; providing effective cleansing without stripping the skin of its natural oils, making it suitable for sensitive skin and promoting overall skin health.

  • Coconut oil

    Coconut oil in soap helps remove impurities, provides a luxurious lather, and contributes to skin hydration, making it beneficial for both cleansing and nourishing the skin.

  • Tamanu oil

    Tamanu oil has remarkable skin-healing properties, aiding in the reduction of inflammation, scars, and promoting overall skin regeneration.

  • Green tea

    Green tea has antioxidant properties, helping to combat free radicals, soothe inflammation, and contribute to a refreshed and revitalized complexion.

  • Herb tea

    Various herbal teas we use offer not only anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing effects but also provide diverse cleansing benefits, while imparting natural and unique colors and flavor to the soap.

  • Natural essential oils

    Essential oils impart a pleasing scent organically, eliminating the need for synthetic fragrances, and they bring additional advantages, like antimicrobial or calming effects. They will bring a more holistic and skin-friendly cleansing experience.

Pure Essential Oils

The essential oils used in our products are sourced only from places certified for ethical fair trade. This ensures adherence to principles of fair trade and guarantees consistent quality and ethical production practices throughout the supply chain. Moreover, the various oils used in each product are carefully selected and blended to preserve their efficacy and aroma to the fullest extent possible. This ensures that consumers receive the highest quality and most satisfying experience.

Flowers

The fragrant and beautiful flowers grown on the fertile lands of Vietnam, where flowers bloom all year round, are carefully dried. These dried flowers, such as rose petals, lavender, and jasmine, are then ground into powder to add color and texture to soaps, or they are used as they are in our Bath Salts and our handmade soy-wax Candles. This process is LUI&JULI’s secret to preserving the natural essence and beauty of the flowers while enhancing the sensory experience of our products.

Clay & Charcoal

We, LUI&JULI, never add artificial dyes on our products. Instead, we harness the exceptional benefits and beautiful array of colors from natural ingredients such as activated charcoal, fresh coffee grounds, pink clay, green clay, tea leaves, noni powder, turmeric powder, cocoa powder, and more. These natural ingredients not only offer outstanding efficacy but also provide a diverse range of colors without compromising on quality.

Oils & Butters

The majority of oils used in our products are food-grade. Specifically, the two oils used exclusively in our soap – olive oil and coconut oil – are extra virgin food-grade oils. Additionally, other high-quality organic oils such as tamanu oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, camellia oil, sweet almond oil, and shea butter are also utilized in formulations of our other products.
